As part of our mission to tell the story of cable, The Cable Center connects with industry leaders, academics, and students. Our mission under Cable Today & Tomorrow is to focus on current topics while also exploring future possibilities. Our current programs include:

  • Customer Experience(Cx) Central:   As the cable industry approaches maturity and competition continues to grow, the need for competitive advantage increases. Continuously improving the customer experience can be one such advantage. The Cable Center’s Customer Experience(Cx) Central Initiatives have established a solid foundation on which to build industry capabilities in this critical area.
  • Cable Mavericks Lecture Series:  Cable Mavericks Lecture Series brings the best and brightest cable professionals to college campuses across the country. Through an interactive and engaging presentation students get a glimpse of career paths and day-to-day life in this fast-moving, high tech field.
  • Cable Mavericks Masters Forum:   The Masters Forum: A One-Day-Degree in Cable is designed with college students in mind. The Cable Center brings together industry leaders and experts from many diverse subject areas to participate in in-depth panel discussions about all aspects of the industry. • Cable Center Internship Program:  The Cable Center gives young people the opportunity to gain real-world work experience and to discover more about the industry with its new Summer Intern program. Formally launched in June of 2012, the program builds on the success of The Cable Center’s Student Ambassador program, which provides university students the chance to meet, listen, learn from and network with top executives
