Jessica Heacock
Executive Vice President, MTV Networks

Jessica Heacock is Executive Vice President, MTV Networks Affiliate Marketing and Finance.  Our team’s mission is to create powerful brand relationships with our affiliates across all platforms that reinforce the value of all of our networks.  Jessica’s team is responsible for all of the Affiliate Marketing, including affiliate upgrade and acquisition support, local ad sales promotions, distribution and training support, forecasting and budgeting, and pro-social marketing efforts for all 26 MTV Networks.  Her team also represents the BET Networks including BET, BET Gospel, and BET J.  Some of the signature efforts marketed by her group with local affiliates include the MTV Video Music Awards, Nickelodeon’s Kid’s Choice Awards, the Comedy Central Roasts, VH1 Save the Music, CMT local marketing and tours, Ultimate Fighter on Spike, and the BET Awards.

Before her promotion which included the addition of Affiliate Finance and Local Ad Sales,  Jessica led the Affiliate Marketing group as Senior Vice President.  Prior to that, She had been Group Vice President, Consumer and Affiliate Marketing at VH1, after being promoted from the position of Vice President, Affiliate Marketing for VH1.  Prior to joining VH1 in 1997, Jessica was Vice President, Programming and Marketing with Newscorporation/ASkyB which merged briefly with Echostar.  Before that, she was Director in Marketing at Cox Communications Corporate in Atlanta, specializing in pricing and packaging for the local Cox systems.  She started her career in the cable and telecommunications industry with U S West, Inc. where she worked primarily in the wireless division. 

She is currently Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of WICT, Inc., a mentor in the Kaitz NAMIC/WICT mentoring program, and a contributor to industry organizations including NAMIC, WICT, CTAM, and the NCTA. 

Ms. Heacock has an MBA, and a B.A. in political science.  She is married to Paul Insalaco and they have a two year old son, Andre.
