Annette Lindstrom
VP, Marketing, Home & Garden Television

Annette Lindstrom brings 16 years experience in consumer and business-to-business marketing and communications strategy to Home & Garden Television. The 12-year Scripps veteran takes a lead in major marketing initiatives for the network, and serves as marketing liaison to new business initiatives in the brand’s rapidly growing portfolio of content platforms.

Lindstrom’s work has certainly helped define the network’s success in its 10-year history. In 2003, she managed the launch of Restore America: A Salute to Preservation, a multi-million dollar partnership with the National Trust for Historic Preservation to raise awareness and generate support for saving America’s most beloved and historic places. In addition, Lindstrom is a driving force behind the popularity of HGTV’s live, commercial-free coverage of the Tournament of Roses Parade on New Year’s Day. Her marketing savvy has helped position January 1 as the highest-rated day of the year for HGTV, to serve as a strategic launching pad for series premieres and network specials.

An integral part of the Scripps family since its inception, Lindstrom was the third employee hired by HGTV in September 1994, and was one of the original team members to launch the network later that year. Prior to HGTV, Lindstrom served as the head of marketing and affiliate relations for PASS sports, a regional cable sports network in Detroit, now known as Fox Sports Detroit.

Lindstrom was honored in 2003 with the Bernice Coe Award, an industry accolade for women whose mentoring and leadership abilities are expected to influence the future of the cable industry. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Lindstrom holds a B.S. in communications from Ohio University.
