Susan Packard, President of International Development and Affiliate Sales for Scripps Networks, returned to her Alma Mater, Michigan State on November 15, 2005 to speak to students about the importance of branding in building a successful television network. Her colleague, Chad Youngblood, who was recently promoted from Vice President of On-Air Promotions for HGTV to General Manager for Fine Living, joined for the presentation, given to over 200 journalism, marketing and mass communications students and faculty.
