Back for their third lecture with The Cable Center’s Cable Mavericks Lecture Program, Susan Packard, President of International Development and Affiliate Sales for Scripps Networks and Chad Youngblood, General Manager for Fine Living, visited UCLA’s Anderson School of Management. The team presented to an audience of Anderson’s Media Entertainment Association students. With a strong mix of humor and tactical strategy, Susan and Chad walked students through the process of building brands that connect with passionate and loyal viewers and how HGTV grew to become a leading lifestyle brand. The Q&A lasted long after the presentation. These savvy business students knew the value of face to face interaction with two of cable’s top executives.
