Chad Youngblood
General Manager, FINE LIVING
Chad Youngblood has more than 15 years of experience in the television industry, connecting networks with their viewers. In October 2005, he was named general manager of FINE LIVING, one of Scripps Networks' emerging networks. Youngblood oversees day-to-day network operations such as programming and promotions.
Previously, he served as vice president of on-air promotion for HGTV, a position he held since late in 2004. In that role, Youngblood was responsible for maintaining and enhancing the relationship with viewers. He oversaw a staff of 11, and was responsible for the on-air promotional image of HGTV. He has been recognized by his peers with several national awards and in 2002 received special recognition from the National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications.
He is a five-year veteran of HGTV, and previously served as director of on-air promotion for the lifestyle network. He joined the network as a writer/producer of special projects in 2000. Prior to HGTV, he served as writer/producer for KGO-TV in San Francisco , and 10 years of local television in Reno , NV and San Jose , CA .
Youngblood and his wife Ginette have twin sons, Evan and Owen.
