"On September 13, The Cable Center organized a special screening of the documentary I produced, Born In Exile: The Future of Tibet. The event brought together the DeSorrento family, The Center staff, and my public relations colleagues from Comcast. It was an excellent opportunity for me to meet and visit with Jim, Karen, and Suraya DeSorrento and for all those involved in the internship program to become acquainted with one another.

"I completed the documentary in May for my senior Honors thesis. The film focuses on the young generation of Tibetan refugees living in Dharamsala, India, and their ongoing struggle to gain independence for Tibet. I traveled to India to shoot the film over a four week period. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to share this work with The Cable Center, the DeSorrentos, and Comcast. Thank you to Jana Henthorn for organizing the event and to Joan Prinaris and James Conyers for helping to make it possible."
