	The Cable Pioneers Exhibit » Profiling Cable Pioneers from 1966 to the present The Cable TV Pioneers originated at the 1966 National Cable Television Association (NCTA) Convention in Miami, when 21 members of the CATV industry were presented with "Pioneer" plaques by Stanley Searle of TV & Communications magazine.
