Manuscript Collection

Personal letters, press releases, posters, and more offer tangible testimony to the imagination and entrepreneurial zeal of the cable industry.

At The Barco Library You can find items like these, as well as court records, memoranda, manuals, kits, technical standards, correspondence, drawings, original articles, and other papers dating back to the beginning of cable, where more than 100 manuscript collections detail an individual’s or an organization's contributions to the cable industry.

These collections highlight issues of the day, the development of technology, and tell the cable television story.
