The Cable Center has developed a mini-MBA program for Chinese media executives that is designed to:
- Equip these decision makers with the business skills essential to successful management in the media world today and tomorrow, and
- Provide these leaders with a perspective of the technology, evolution, and future of the cable industry in the United States.


The Chinese Executive Media Management Program (CEMMP) includes four weeks of intensive in-classroom training at The Cable Center and corporate briefings in Denver. This part of the program consists of course work in business planning, management, marketing and marketing research, accounting and financial analysis, and leadership development. The curriculum also incorporates material on the structure, legal/regulatory framework, and competitive landscape of the cable marketing place in the United States.
The capstone experience in the Denver portion of program is a comprehensive business plan presentation. While in Denver, the participants will receive corporate briefings and have on-site visits with Comcast, Starz Encore Group, Liberty Global , and Echostar.
