Cable Hall of Fame CelebrationThe inductees were chosen by The Cable Television Hall of Fame committee comprised of leaders from throughout the cable industry. Selection criteria are based on the honoree's exemplary contributions to the growth and development of cable's diverse industry and to the people, communities, organizations and institutions served by cable television communications. This year's selection committee was chaired by Nick Davatzes, CEO Emeritus of A&E Television Networks, and a 2005 inductee.

The 2006 class joins the 52 men and women who have been honored since 1998.
