Sharpen your cable accounting and finance knowledge through this comprehensive three-day program that will take you from the basics to how to calculate ROI.

Program Description
Throughout the program, you’ll hear from experts on all aspects of accounting and finance applications used in the cable industry. You’ll have the opportunity ask questions and discuss issues with these experts and your peers. You will learn about:

• Financial aspects of cable including liquidity, leverage, earnings, cash flow, profitability and the difference between companies that are earnings oriented and those that are EBITDA oriented.

• Capital allocation and planning tools. Learn how to determine break-even and payback from cable specific project implementations.

• Accounting and financial statements including cash flow, EBITDA, EBITDA margin, and the key factors that affect these ratios.

• Accounting problems, policies, and conventions including bad debt, plant and equipment policies specifically related to converters, asset transfers, construction in progress, and inventory.

• Managing short-term assets, including cash and receivables management, policies and systems.

• Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) techniques. Practice using IRR and NPV with projects that include typical cable-related investments such as line extensions and new product launches.

This class has been described by previous participants as having "dead on analysis with real world applicability" and "very easy to understand; it inspired me to want to learn more."

This class is expected to sell out! Register now while seats are still available.
