Oral and Video Histories Oral and Video Histories »
The Oral and Video History Program is the world’s leading resource for information about those who founded the cable industry, led it into the broadband revolution and continue to move it forward today. These first-hand accounts include more than 250 written transcripts and 160 videos. Industry leaders and pioneers trace cable’s history from its earliest beginnings to the present. Transcripts of each interview and over 100 hours of video are available to be viewed on The Center’s Web site.

The Cable Center’s Barco Library holds the world’s largest collection of cable-centric books, periodicals, historical documents, and research-worthy archives. It holds a distinctive place as the primary resource to find information on the rich heritage that the cable industry has generated.
Photograph Collections Photograph Collections »
The Barco Library has in its collections over 70,000 photographs covering all aspects of the cable industry. Collections include the 30,000 photos used by Stan Searle in publications such as TV Communications, TVC, and CATV Weekly among others; The Cablevision Photograph Collection, donated to The Center by MultiChannel News; and The Bill Daniels Photograph Collection, donated to The Center by The Daniels Estate.
