Capital Campaign

Capital Campaign, Founding of The Cable Center1997-2003

Campaign Mission: The Capital Campaign, launched in 1997, successfully concluded after raising more than $60.2 million in donations—well ahead of its $52.6 million goal.

These contributions provided us the funding necessary to build The Cable Center’s global headquarters in Denver. These donations also launched many initial programs and secured the placement of professional staff members.

The Capital Campaign successfully gained tremendous support from throughout the cable industry to provide The Center’s start-up funding. As we build on that success and move from our start-up phase, The Center’s financial requirements shift to ongoing educational program development. The funding generated by this campaign will allow The Center to continue to develop even more programs serving the cable industry, the educational community, and the public at large.
