The Cable Center was a proud sponsor of One Day Immersion in TV, Cable and Digital Entertainment (ODI). College students are the industry's future executives, thought-leaders, technology innovators and are changing the way media is consumed. ODI connects this highly motivated audience searching for knowledge and opportunity, with unprecedented access to top digital television executives. Through that connection, ODI provides executives exposure to the next generation of industry leaders as they develop strategic relationships.
Since its inception in 2013, more than 5,000 in-person and over 2,000 via live video streaming, undergrad and graduate students from over 100 colleges and universities across the U.S. have participated in the One Day Immersion conference. A multitude of majors have been represented including journalism and mass communications, media studies, TV, film, production, business, technology, engineering, legal, and finance.
The conferences have featured over 100 media executives from some of today's top companies representing a wide variety of career paths and disciplines, and have resulted in numerous successful job placements, internships and mentoring matches.
